Dr Leslie Casely-Hayford honored for outstanding CSR performance

Director for Associates for Change and the Olinga Foundation for Human Development, Dr. Leslie Casely- Hayford has been crowned Ghana's Most Outstanding Female in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the just-ended 10th Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards 2024 held at the Accra Marriot, a hotel in Airport City in Ghana's capital, on 5th July.

The prestigious award signifies her stunning leadership qualities and exceptional dedication to providing quality education research and social development services. She is a highly respected personality advocating for best business practices in the sector.

The Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards organised by The Business Executive Magazine Limited seeks to publicly recognize women in Ghana who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in various forms of endeavor across both the public and private sectors, such as entrepreneurs, professionals, corporate executives, public institutional managers, diplomats, sportswomen, traditional rulers, and others.

The award automatically elevates her to the status of a "SHE ACHIEVER " which is the topmost connective female network platform in Ghana. The initiative is an executive association which embodies top female CEO's and past Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards winners and creates a platform on which members can more easily reach out for assistance in a required field without incurring cost. It also stands for Women Empowerment and projects the voices of women on important social matters.

Speaking to the media after receiving the all- important honor, Dr. Leslie Casely- Hayford expressed her profound gratitude to God for all His guidance, her staff at both Associates for Change and the Olinga Foundation for Human Development, as well as her family and the Baha'i Community of Ghana for their unwavering support.

According to her, the award reflects her commitment to delivering the highest standards of quality social development and sets a benchmark for other organisations to follow.

" I really appreciate this recognition. I will continue to work hard to support our communities, children, institutions and marginalised populations in the best possible ways to achieve higher degrees of social development and prosperity", she said.

The Olinga Foundation for Human Development https://www.olingafoundation.org has been developing a scalable model of literacy, teacher training support/intervention at primary school level in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES) to ensure foundation learning is achieved in Ghana.
