Reports reaching YEN.com.gh indicate that embattled surgeon, Dr Obengfo, has gone back to work in his clinic after he was granted a GHC 50,000 bail following a court case involving the death of Stacy Offei-Darko.
According to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Mynewsgh.com, the Obengfo clinic is in full operation with clients now trooping in to receive cosmetic surgeries.
The report went on to state that women who wanted to 'enhance' their figures had started going to the clinic to get their desired body shapes.
It has been also reported that even men with weight problems and pot-bellied men had also started attending the clinic sessions to have their 'situations' addressed by Dr Obengfo.
Not too long ago, YEN.com.gh reported that a former nurse of Obengfo Hospital who worked at the facility between 2013 and 2017 leaked a list of celebrities and non-celebrities in Ghana who were beneficiaries of Dr Obengfo’s plastic surgery.
According to the report, Dr Obengfo allegedly kept a list of his clients very confidential however sometimes, he relied on the said nurse to update the list for him with names, dates and photographs
The first set of Ghanaian celebrities reported to have been beneficiaries included actress and TV personality, Joselyn Dumas, Moesha Buduong and Princess Shyngle.
The nurse in question alleged that she took notice of Moesha when she started making waves “all over the place”.
The report went on to state that Moesha and Dr Obengfo went into some form of agreement which was later abrogated.
Dr. Obengfo, as part of the abrogation terms, was to delete all Moesha's model photos for the hospital on social media.
One such photos of Moesha for the hospital was reportedly posted by Dr Obengfo in December 2016.
Joselyn Dumas, according to reports, visited Obengfo Hospital as one of its early clients before it made a name.
The nurse purportedly indicated that Joselyn Dumas linked her Nigerian friends to Dr Obengfo.
The nurse also made reference to a December 2014 story which Dr Obengfo sponsored in the Graphic showbiz to hype some of his top clients.
This included Joselyn Dumas, Princess Shyngle, among others, the report claimed.
Dr Dominic Obeng- Andoh, popularly known as Obengfo, is the owner and manager of Advanced Body Sculpt in Ghana.
He has been in the news, and lately, was caged by the police after he was linked with the death of the deputy chief executive officer of National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP), Stacy Offei-Darko.
Speaking to Accra-based Citi FM on the issue, mother of the victim, Nana Akosua Animah, said her 37-year-old daughter fell ill and sought medical attention at the Obengfo Hospital.
Her attempts to reach her daughter proved futile and she found directions to the hospital to check on her.
When she got the Dr Obeng-Andoh told Madam Anima that her daughter had died and that her body had been deposited at the morgue.
Dissatisfied with the circumstances leading to Stacy's death, Madam Anima lodged a complaint with the police leading to the arrest of Dr Obeng-Andoh.
