A young man is demanding that his ex-girlfriend, Abigail, terminate her pregnancy following their breakup over what he described as her “unreasonable financial demands.”

Appearing on Pastor Prince Elisha Osei’s Secret programme — a show dedicated to resolving relationship disputes — the man explained that he earns GH¢3,500 monthly but was pressured to spend GH¢1,200 every month on menstrual products for his girlfriend; an amount he claims was draining his finances.

Man runs to Auntie Naa as DNA test proves he is not the father of 12-year-old girl he sent to Germany

“I earn only GH¢3,500 a month, and I take care of my two younger siblings and my mother. Yet every month, she demanded GH¢1,200 for menstrual products alone. It became too much for me,” he said on the show.

He noted that he ended the relationship two months ago after repeated arguments over money. However, according to him, the woman has since claimed he is responsible for her pregnancy and is now demanding marriage.

“After we broke up, she came back two months later saying she’s pregnant. I told her I’m not the father. If she insists I am, then she should prove it — or she should abort it and move on.”

The man, visibly frustrated, described his ex-girlfriend as “ungrateful,” insisting that despite supporting her and her family financially, she only cared about money.

“She never appreciated anything I did. I supported her and even bought medicine for her sick mother every month, but all she cared about was what I could buy next. She’s just ungrateful,” he lamented.

However, the ex-girlfriend — who was also present in the studio — denied his assertions and maintained that he is the father of her unborn child.

“He has been doing everything for me, but now that I am pregnant, he says I should abort the baby. I don’t want to abort it — I want to give birth and marry him. Because I have refused to abort the pregnancy, he is ignoring me and no longer supporting me. So please, Pastor, talk to him to marry me.”

The case remains unresolved, as the couple has agreed to undergo counselling through Pastor Elisha Osei’s programme to determine the next steps.
