Cape Coast May 20, GNA- Tony Yeboah a 41-year-old driver was on Friday jailed nine months by a circuit court at Cape Coast for stealing a goat valued at 500,000 cedis belonging to one Mr Kofi Kumi. Yeboah pleaded guilty and was convicted on his plea.

Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Rueben Dzigboti, told the court, presided over by Mr Mustapha Logoh that on January 23 this year, members of the community watch committee at Batanyaa, in the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese district, came across Yeboah carrying a goat tied up in the company of another man, now at large.

He said on seeing the committee members the two men threw away the goat and fled into a nearby bush, but Yeboah who later re-surfaced at the school park, was arrested.
