A community library established by the chiefs and people of Dwaaho, near Tepa to boost education in the area has been inaugurated.

The Integrated Social Development Centre (ISODEC), a non-governmental organisation, donated books and other items valued at 8.7 million cedis to the Library. Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Akwasi Adu-Poku, Ahafo-Ano North District Chief Executive, asked school pupils to cultivate the habit of reading to improve their skills

Mrs. Alice Asabea, District Co-ordinator of ISODEC, appealed to parents to reduce the workload of their children, especially the girls, at home to enable them to have enough time to study. She also appealed to the community to extend electricity to the library to enable the children to use the place at night.

Mrs. Patricia Aidoo, District Girl-Child Education Coordinator, commended the ISODEC for sponsoring girls' education in the District and appealed to parents to encourage their children to study hard to justify the huge sums of money ISODEC spent on the project.
