Ho, Aug. 14, GNA - Reverend Kofi Vovonyo Akwetey of the Christ Evangelistic Church, Ho, has observed that the E.P. Church has a potent spiritual weapon in the songs contained in its hymnal, the "Hadzigbale".

Rev. Akwetey made the assertion during an exposition on the topic, 93Striving to Enhance Human Dignity, a Responsibility for All," as part of the Youth Week celebration of the Elorm E.P. Church at Ho Bankoe.

"You have handed over the Hadzigbale to others to meditate over it. We work with the words in it to be spiritually powerful," He said.

He said members of the E.P. Church on the other hand seemed to have been content with singing the songs without applying them to attain spiritual empowerment.

Reverend Akwetey urged the youths in the E.P. Church to read, study and apply the songs in the Hadzigbale together with the Bible as guides to attaining spiritual strength to weather the storms of life.

He observed that many Christians had put Jesus Christ behind them and treated the Church as a 93mere society."
