E/R: Mangoase SHS student drowns in Densu river

A second year student of the Mangoase Senior High School in the Akuapim North municipality of the Eastern region has drowned in the Densu River.

The 18-year-old Nuhu sidik who is a day-student reportedly went to swim in the river with his friends after school hours Tuesday.

The body has since been buried in accordance with Islamic religion while investigations are underway.

Assistant headmaster of the school Wilfred Anorga confirmed the incident to Starr News.
