The Chairman of the People’s National Convention [PNC], Bernard Mornah said for the first time in his entire political career, he was so “uncomfortable” during an Inter-Party Advisory Committee [IPAC] meeting.

According to him, a fully armed Police Officer who was present at the meeting constantly gave him a ‘wild look’ anytime he picks the microphone to share a thought.

“I was even scared. IPAC intimidatory tactics is worrying,” he said.

Bernard Mornah was reported to have been sacked from an IPAC meeting held on Thursday – but NDC's Peter Otokunor, deputy General Secretary denied that claim.

Peter Otokunor speaking to this on Peace FM said Bernard Mornah was not walked out and that he only felt intimidated by the presence of the police ‘which has never happened before’.

The police presence according to the Electoral Commission is a new move to protect the Commissioner and other EC officials.

But, Bernard Mornah thinks otherwise – he said the EC is rather trying to intimidate the opposition parties.
