ECOWAS endorses Mumuni for ACP post

ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, have at the end of their 42nd Ordinary Session in Yamoussoukro, endorsed President John Mahama's nominee, Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni, as candidate to serve the unexpired term of Dr. Mohammed Ibn Chambas as Secretary General of the ACP.

With this endorsement, President Mahama is confirming his growing influence among colleague heads of state and his ability to make the right pitch for Ghanaian professionals.

Continuing from where the late President Mills left off, John Mahama has put a team together assisting Mr. Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanten in his ongoing effort to clinch the position of Director General of the World Trade Organisation.
