Easter - Tema

Ghanaians were on Sunday urged to pay a freedom price for the next generation by observing their civic and social responsibilities towards the development of the country.

The Reverend Mrs Tina Bella Goodman, Vice President of the Believers Triumph Ministries International (BTMI) in an Easter message said Ghanaians should see the honouring of their national and religious responsibilities as a price they are paying for the liberty of the next generation. She said just as Christ paid the freedom price for mankind by dying for their sins, Ghanaians owe it to their children to develop the nation by leading responsible lives.

The Rev. added that, a price must be paid for the attainment of freedom and urged Ghanaians to emulate those who fought for the country's independence.

Mrs Goodman, commenting on the benefits of Easter said it was the time that God showed his unconditional love to mankind and reconciled all men unto Him despite their wrong doings.

She said during the remembrance of the death of Christ, Christians must reconcile with their friends and neighbours who have offended them and extend their love towards them and those offended to same without revenge.

The BTMI Pastor called on politicians to desist from blaming each other and rather commend the good works of their opponents for the general welfare of the citizens.
