Many were stunned when they heard news of the untimely death of the talented and award-winning dancehall artiste, which took place in Suyani in the Brong-Ahafo Region.

It's the dream of many artistes to launch their maiden album to fans, which the 90’s badgyal did at the WestHills Mall and witnessed by hundreds of fans who gathered to support the amazing and talented singer.

From 2016 -2017 blagogee.com has compared performances of Ebony that Ghanaians and the world are going to miss.

The video length of 19 mins captured performances by Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known in showbiz circles as Ebony was billed to perform and also thrill patrons.

Her most talked about performance was at the 4syte Music video awards where she won the Best Female Video. Ebony performed her hit song Hustle, which featured label signed artiste Brella.

Ebony is said to have died in a gory road accident, late Thursday evening on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.

Ebony, who was returning from Sunyani after visiting her mother and other family members was in the company of a military officer who is said to be her bodyguard and a young lady, in a Jeep with registration AS 497—16.

Some of her fans who paid tribute to the late Dancehall diva expressed shocked on her passing.

A brief biography of Ebony

Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known in showbiz as Ebony, was born on February 16, 1997, is a Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeats artist widely known for her hit songs “Poison” and “Kupe”, she was discovered by Bullet, a member of Ruff n Smooth fame.

Ebony was discovered by renowned musician and entrepreneur Bullet of Ruff n Smooth fame when she sent a recording of her voice and was signed to his Rufftown record label just a day after listening to the recording.

Ebony came out with her first single, “Dancefloor”, in December 2015 with a video and audio release.

The song became a hit on radio landing her nomination for the unsung category at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.

In March 2016 Ebony released her major hit single “Kupe”, which is a household anthem in Ghana and some other African countries.

The news of the sudden demise of 90s bad girl, Ebony Reigns shocked the whole nation Friday morning after gory pictures of the late artiste started coming up.
