Edusei Foundation donates 500 chairs to Kumasi Academy

The Edusei Foundation has donated 500 chairs to Kumasi Academy Senior High school (KUMACA) as part of their social responsibility towards supporting Youth Development in Ghana and the diaspora.

The Founder of Edusei Foundation, Dr. Kwame Bawuah Edusei, a US-based physician, diplomat, philanthropist and business executive made this humanitarian gesture on the occasion of the 60th anniversary celebration of the institution.

The school, which is located in the Asokore-Mampong Municipality in the Ashanti region, celebrated the 60th anniversary celebration under the theme: “Sixty Years of living the Dream of holistic Education social responsibility, its impact on human Development.”

The year-long celebration will be filled with events from October 28th to December 3rd, 2017. The school has produced world class scholars, politicians, men and women of honor and high repute spread across Ghana and the diaspora who see it as a collective responsibility to support the students in achieving their academic goals.

Rev. Sylvester Osei Owusu, the headmaster of the school who received the chairs on behalf of the school expressed his appreciation for the gesture and invoked blessings on the Edusei Foundation.

The mission of the Edusei foundation is to facilitate youth development in the United States, Ghana and the Diaspora in a positive manner to improve their knowledge, behavior and health. Moreover, they collaborate with other non-governmental organizations to empower women and children.
