Ejura NPP Wants Chairman Out

Information from the Ejura-Sekyere Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region show that there is a growing agitation from party followers in the constituency, for the removal of Samuel N. Abagna, the Constituency Chairman.

Recently, some youth of the party in the constituency sent a strong petition to the National Executive of the NPP and the Presidency calling for the removal of Abagna from office.

The anger of the youth stems from what they described as “negative activities of the chairman that is dragging the name of the party into disrepute”.

It is stated that, the polling agents are also calling for the immediate removal of Abagna and some other executive of the party in the constituency for what they termed as “anti-party activities that has the tendency to derail the little gains made by the party
