Election 2024: NDC decries deployment of Military men to constituencies

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has condemned what they describe as the Militarization of the 2024 elections.

A statement signed by the party’s General Secretary indicated that they object to the deployment of military men to the various constituencies.

They have, therefore, called on the president to recall all military men who have been deployed to the various constituencies.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Armed Forces has, through a statement, indicated that the military is only available to support the police.

They insist that none of their men will be stationed at the polling stations across the country.
