An Accra Circuit Court on Tuesday granted a GH?20,000.00 bail with three sureties to an electrician for allegedly defiling two sisters, ages four and seven.

One of the sureties should be justified.

Emmanuel Fosu, alias Wofa Yaw, 25 has denied the offence and will make his next appearance on August 9, 2019.

Prosecuting Police Sergeant Opoku Aniagyei, who held brief for Chief Inspector Kofi Atimbire told the Court presided over by Mrs Rita Abrokwa Doko that the complainant is the father of the victims and live in Accra with them and their mother, a nurse.

He said the accused person also lived in the same house with the family.

The prosecution said on April 18, this year, the victims’ mother informed them she was going to leave them in the care of Fosu as she was on a night shift but the girls disclosed an unhappiness to that decision.

The Prosecution said their mother then enquired from them their reason where they told her the accused person had been having sex with them anytime she left them in his care.

He said the mother armed with the information reported the matter to the Police where she was issued with a medical report form to send the girls to the hospital for an examination.

Sergeant Aniagyei said the medical report form was which was endorsed indicated that the victims’ hymen were broken and this led to the arrest of Fosu.

He said in his cautioned statement, Fosu denied the offence.
