The Constituency Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ellembelle of the Western Region, Samuel Akainya popularly known as Chairman Atito has vowed not to sit aloof and allow the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Francis Kwasi Bonzo to spoil the party.

The Ellembelle NPP has not been enjoying peace since the party came to power in 2017 till date.

Their impasse started during the appointment of a DCE to administer the Assembly.

Recently the majority of the Constituency Executives petitioned the Chief of Staff to sanction the DCE for engaging in acts which in one way or the other has created division and continuous to thicken by the day.

In reaction to the petition, the DCE held a press conference to refute their claims and went ahead to accuse the Chairman of bringing a certain woman to contest him in their upcoming parliamentary primaries.

Speaking on Ellembelle based-radio West End Radio political morning show over the weekend, monitored by Daniel Kaku, the Constituency Chairman said the DCE actions and inactions are tarnishing the of the party in the area and also the presidency.

He accused the DCE for not called for a meeting with the Constituency Executives ever since he assumed office as the Chief Executive.

"The DCE has NEVER called the Constituency Executives for any meeting ever since he assumed office let alone to talk about how to help the foot soldiers who toiled for the party", he claimed.

He added that "We have since, written several letters to invite the DCE to engage him on his way of doing things in the Constituency but he has absolutely ignored us as Constituency Executives. We are beginning to doubt his loyalty as a member of the party because of his disrespect for constituency executives and his teaming up with the NDC Member of Parliament".

He also added that the DCE has awarded all contracts to NDC contractors at the detriment of the Constituency Executives.

The Chairman used the platform to refute a comment made the DCE on the same radio station that he the DCE gave him and the Executives contract to execute.

"The DCE has lied to the good people of Ellembelle because the DCE did not give us the contract to execute and use the profit to finance the party and I want to emphasize that it was not true, he is lying", he opined.

Chairman Atito revealed that the DCE has deliberately failed to pay the party's polling agents their allowances adding that the DCE has diverted the monies hence making these agents to blame the Executives.

"After the 2012 general elections, monies that were realized from the party to pay polling agents were diverted by the DCE, Hon. Kwasi Bonzoh, who was then the Parliamentary Candidate', he bemoaned.

He added "He has since refused to pay them upon pressures by the polling agents. In the 2016 general elections, similar incident happened. He has again refused to pay party agents. Interestingly, when most of them pressured him by resorting to media discussions about his conduct, he lackadaisically paid selected few, presumed to be his favorite".

The Chairman alleged that DCE during the party's National Executives Election held in Koforidua in the Eastern Region last year, campaigned openly against his boss, Freddie Blay to loss.

He also claimed that during his confirmation as the DCE, took 3 million dollars from the NDC's MP to solicit votes from the Assembly Members adding that the NDC is therefore going round in the area that the DCE is seen in video begging Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah for forgiveness and also support him to be confirmed as a DCE.

He also accused the DCE of projecting the NDC's MP for the area, Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah more than President Akufo-Addo who appointed him as the DCE.

"The DCE has been crediting Hon. Emmanuel Buah for all developmental projects ever since he assumed office. Most of the media coverage and captions of any developmental project in the Constituency is in favour of Hon. Emmanuel Buah. This act, I believe will hinder the fortunes of the party in both parliamentary and presidential elections come 2020", he said.

Mr. Atito alleged that the DCE has never releasing penny to support the Communications Team to defend the party and government on radio.

"The DCE since assumption onto office has refused to support financially any party activity in the constituency, been it polling station or constituency level. The Constituency Executives especially I the Chairman has to struggle to raise funds and resources to support communicators and serial callers to propagate government policies", he explained.

He disclosed that he is going to allow any NPP member who is ready to contest in the upcoming parliamentary primaries against the DCE for the first time since 2010.

"Mr. Host, let me reiterate that the DCE is destroying the NPP party in Ellembelle and as a Chairman I will never sit aloof and allow him to destroy, I will make sure I use my money to resource the party and as I speak right now I have secured vast land to be used to build an ultra-modern party office", he emphasized.

He added "The DCE has been running unopposed for two times but this time around I will not stop any party member from contesting him, I will make available the forms to any party member to contest him because already he has exhibiting gross misconduct".
