The wife of Vice-president Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has encouraged Ghanaians not to neglect persons with special needs but work together to improve their living conditions.
According to Mrs Samira Bawumia, at the core of every human being is the need to associate with and be part of society, but the very society often denies this to persons with special needs who need it the most.
In her opinion: “We all need to come together to improve the lives of persons with special needs and help integrate them into society.”
Mrs Bawumia said this when she joined the Catholic Special Vocation School at Fijai in the Western Region, to celebrate their 15th anniversary.
She prayed for God’s blessings for all those who have dedicated themselves to take care of persons with special needs.
