Enough is Enough Demo: We'll sleep at the EC office until our arrested members are released - NDC Ashanti Regional Chairman
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition NDC, Andrews Nana Kwasi, has disclosed that the party will not leave the Regional EC office until their three supporters arrested by the police are discharged.
"Until the police discharge our members, we are going to sleep here. We wrote a letter to the police before this protest. What is the meaning of this current resistance against our members? Why are they preventing us from entering the EC premises?" he quizzed.
He further urged police officers who, according to him, are politically biased to act professionally. However, he commended most of the police officers for acting professionally.
