In their effort to get into the Ashanti Regional EC office, some angry supporters of the NDC smashed the louvres of the gate leading to the office of the Electoral Commission.
This occurred after the police had denied the supporters access to join the leaders in entering the main office of the EC.
This subsequently led to a heated confrontation between the police and the supporters.
A video captured by GhanaWeb depicts the entire incident.
Meanwhile, other reports suggest that some supporters of the NDC smashed the louvres with both blows and kicks.
