The ‘Enough is Enough’ demonstration against the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is currently ongoing across the length and breadth of Ghana.

In the nation’s capital Accra, a number of groups have joined the NDC to protest against the EC over the commission's refusal to audit the voters register for the upcoming December 7, 2024, general elections.

GhanaWeb’s team covering the protest has cited some of the groups who have joined the protest, including the Concerned Drivers Association, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), head porters (kayayei), and members of the creative artist industry.

The concerned drivers joined the demonstration with their vehicles while the kayayeis could be seen marching with their basins on their heads.

The demonstration, which started at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange at Circle, is expected to end at the head office of the Electoral Commission of Ghana.

The demonstrators are expected to first present a petition to the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, demanding that the EC should be forced to conduct an independent audit of the voters' register.
