Enskinment of Alhaji Dabre of USA

Alhaji Mohammad Dabre, an educationist of new Haven Board of Education in the United States, was enskinned as Chief of the Bisa Community in the Greater Accra on October 30, 2010.

This coincided with the 40th day rites of his predecessor, Chief Osman Dabre, his elder brother. The enskinment took place at the New Nation School, Nima during which Alhaji Sheikh Musa performed the necessary rites on behalf of the Chief Imam, Nuhu Sharabutu, and pronounced Alhaji Dabre as the next Chief.





The new chief assured his people of his commitment to making the community a model, with all the necessary educational facilities to enable development to take place at a faster pace.





In an interview with SPECTATOR Alhaji Dabre intimated his intention of setting up an educational endowment fund to assist the under privileged in the community to have access to education to the tertiary level. He said he would also forge for total unity within the community because without unity and a common purpose, there can be no peace or development.



With reference to unity, he said Muslims and Christians within the community must unite and team up as one people to see to the problems of community. Alhaji Dabre said he will dedicate his tenure as Chief of the community to the total well-being of the people.
