Offinso (Ash), Dec 17, GNA- Nana Osei Sarfoh-Kantanka, Offinso district chairman of the Ghana private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), has advised drivers against drunkenness and over-speeding during the Christmas.

He advised travellers and other passengers to desist from any acts that may influence drivers to do over-speeding. In a Christmas message to motorists in the country, Nana Sarfoh-Kantanka urged the Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) of the Ghana Police Service to be vigilant and help prevent not only road accidents but also crimes during the Yuletide.

He was not happy about the increasing reported cases of road accidents, crimes and indiscipline among drivers and called on Ghanaians to support the security agencies to prevent such social vices. He commended Offinso drivers for their accident-free record during the year and implored them to sustain the enviable achievement.
