The former Rector of GIMPA, Prof. Stephen Adei says entrepreneurs who create jobs for the people in the country are the heroes of our land but not overnight millionaires.
According to him, he was proud to know two of his past students are entrepreneurs and have created employment for about 9500 people. This makes him believe that the future lies in Ghanaians.
“These are the kind of people who should be the heroes of our land and not overnight millionaires out of corruption and stealing to drive V8 on our back” he added
He said this at the Launch of George Yaw Owusu’s book, “In Pursuit of Jubilee – A True Story of the First Major Oil Discovery in Ghana”. The bitter sweet narration of the book takes readers through a riveting experience of the author and also shakes the foundation of loyalty.
Prof. Adei, who was the chairman of the event prayed that the nation never experiences another book like “In Pursuit of Jubilee”.
He finally called on all Ghanaians and the two main political parties in Ghana, NPP, and the NDC to pledge never again.
