Sunyani, June 4, GNA - A renowned Sunyani-based evangelist has appealed to Ghanaians to join in a one-hour corporate intercession on Sunday morning to support candidates for the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE), which begins on Monday, July 5.
Evangelist David Thomas Aboagye-Mensah, President of Christ Universal Evangelism Network, an NGO, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency invited parents, guardians, families, friends, schools, churches and fellowships for the intercession from 0500 hours to 0600 hours on Sunday "for an unprecedented academic bumper harvest" in the history of the examination.
He urged the candidates to remember that; "As you enter the examination halls tomorrow, like Daniel, Meshach and Abed-Nego in the book of Daniel 1:17, 20, the Lord will grant you knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and wisdom to enable you soar on wings of angels in the examination."
"May the number of passes in all the subjects and the high marks to be scored be described as an academic bumper harvest to make your parents, guardians and schools more than happy for their investments in you and to cause a national jubilation," he added.
