Ex Vice-President Arkaah in Motor Accident.

The former Vice-President, Kow Nkensen Arkaah is responding to treatment at the 37 Military Hospital after sustaining injuries in a motor accident yesterday.

The accident occurred at about three o'clock, near the entrance of his house at Cantonments, when a speeding car run into his car resulting in Mr. Arkaah's car somersaulting.

At the 37 Military Hospital where Mr. Arkaah underwent surgery, the Commanding Officer, Colonel Aryeetey would not disclose the extent of Mr. Arkaah's injuries.

However, JOYFM learnt that the former Vice-President suffered a broken arm and other injuries on his face. A young shoe seller at the side of the road also suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the speeding car that run into Mr. Arkaah's car sped away after the accident. Mr. Arkaah was returning from a trip to his hometown Winneba when the accident occurred.
