Executive Of Airport Cargo Drivers Society Inaugurated

Accra (Greater Accra) 18 Nov. A seven-member executive of the Airport Cargo Drivers Corporative Transport Society was today inaugurated at the Cargo village at the Kotoka International Airport In Accra. The Executive which will serve a four year term is under the chairmanship of Mr.. Daniel Kissi Agyabeng, Mr.. Samuel Ntow, Secretary and Frank Apeagyei, Treasurer at a swearing ceremony, Mr.. George Ntow Darko President of the Greater Accra Corporative Union advised members to discharge their duties faithfully. He called on car owners to screen drivers before allowing them to handle their vehicles saying drivers who are not conversant with road signs are likely to be involved in accidents. He advised members to be mindful of the fact that the Airport is one of the gateways to the country and that any negative act on their part will affect government's effort at development. Mr.. Agyabeng promised the membership good leadership and asked for corporation to ensure improved services for their clients. Mr.. David Dorkoo, Administrative manager of Afgo, cautioned the drivers against smuggling stressing that any one caught in that act will be banned from operating at the Airport. gri
