Experienced and well-marketed Bawumia the best to lead NPP - Okyere Baafi

Member of Parliament for New Juaben South, Michael Okyere Baafi, has urged members of the New Patriotic Party to strongly rally behind former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and retain him as the party's Flagbearer for the 2028 elections.

Addressing delegates of his constituency in Koforidua, Baafi described the 2028 election as crucial, which he said, requires a formidable candidate with experience, like the former Vice President, to lead the NPP to victory.

"I'm saying that the 31st January election is not a joke. It's a crucial election and we need an experienced person. We need someone who has been well-marketed and is well known by Ghanaians. That person is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia," the MP said.

Baafi, who recalled Dr Bawumia's loyal services to the NPP "during difficult moments when," expressed strong confidence in Bawumia to deliver victory for the NPP in 2028, and urged party members to continue to back him and work hard together for victory.

"Politics is local so the responsibility is on all of as at the polling station level. It is a collective responsibility for all. So let us all come together, work hard at the local level for the NPP to reclaim power. And the only person who can help us to win easily is experienced and well marketed Dr Bawumia," he said.
