Robbery suspect Adinda-Akpo Abdou Moudjibou escorted by police officers upon arrival in Ghana
Notorious armed robber Adinda-Akpo Abdou Moudjibou, who was recently extradited from Togo to Ghana in a joint operation by the Ghana Police Service and Togolese law enforcement authorities, is scheduled to undergo a medical examination.
According to a report by graphic.com.gh, the accused, Adinda-Akpo Abdou Moudjibou, reportedly exhibited unusual and disturbing behavior while in police custody, including eating his own excreta.
This disclosure was made by the prosecution, led by ASP Amoah Richard, when the accused appeared before court on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
In light of these developments, Moudjibou has been remanded into the custody of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) to undergo further medical and psychological assessment.
He is facing charges of robbery in connection with alleged offences committed between 2022 and 2024.
According to the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, DCOP Lydia Yaako Donkor, during a press briefing in Accra on May 17, 2025, Moudjibou, who holds both Ghanaian and Togolese identity documents, was captured on CCTV footage robbing residents in prime areas of Accra, including East Legon, Ridge, Tesano, and Cantonments.
Meanwhile, Moudjibou's accomplice, Marzuk Alidu, has been charged with abetment to commit robbery.
