Residents of Mile 11 Broadcasting, a suburb of Weija in the Greater Accra Region, have expressed disappointment in the affluent in the area for failing to construct a proper drainage system to end the perennial flooding in the community.
A video sent to GhanaWeb from a resident shows the area flooded after Thursday’s downpour in Accra.
Some persons who had to seek shelter from the rain are heard rejoicing over the inability of a pick-up truck to use the road.
A lady is also heard in the background saying the rich will keep suffering the same fate as the poor in the community when it rains since they are not willing to fix the road.
