Ntiribuoho (Ash), Sept.16, GNA - The management of Family Life Improves Programme (FLIP) Information Centre at Ntiribuoho in the Afigya-Kwabre District on Tuesday presented pencils, sweets and erasers to 300 pupils of Ntiribuoho Primary School to mark their first day at school. Presenting the items the Director of the Centre, Mr. Sampson Adu-Poku, said the Centre recognized the importance of education and decided to present the gifts to the children to encourage them to work hard He said the centre, which was established two months ago, would continue to support education and child welfare in the community and called for support from parents and teachers.

Mr. Adu-Poku urged the parents to visit the school regularly to be abreast with the problems facing the children and teachers. Mr. Paul Owusu-Ansah, head teacher of the primary school, thanked the Centre and appealed to the Centre and other private organizations, individuals and non-governmental organizations to support the community and the school to complete the construction of its library.
