Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, recently shared an artwork related to the whereabouts of the NDC's 2024 flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
The artwork is designed with the details of Tamale-based Tamale Radio 91.7 FM.
The message on it, attributed to NDC communicator Solomon Nkansah reads: "As at now, party executives don't know the whereabout of our flagbearer John Mahama. Where is our flagbearer?"
Anyidoho posted the artwork on X (May 13) with the caption "oyiwa" accompanied by fire emojis.
GhanaWeb checks revealed that Radio Tamale had not issued any artwork to that effect. We went through their Facebook and X handles but did not find the said artwork.
The station replied "fake" to an information GhanaWeb put through on Facebook Messenger.
On the whereabouts of John Mahama, he recently returned to town after a private visit to the United Kingdom where he attended to some engagements.
Anyidoho, who has openly backed the presidential candidacy of Mahamudu Bawumia, Mahama's main opponent in the 2024 polls, has serially complained that Mahama had ceded the campaign floor to Bawumia, who has been on the trail for the past two weeks.
