A prophet who appeared in a viral video ahead of the 2024 general elections, leading some executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in taking an oath while holding a sword, Prophet Nana Agyeman has claimed that some fake prophets have surrounded President Mahama with darkness.
Speaking in an interview with Neat FM, the leader of PNOA ministries warned that the presence of these fake men of God around the president would have dire consequences if they were not immediately withdrawn.
"NDC should be very careful. They have allowed some pastors to surround the president, and these men of God have engulfed him in darkness. If they don’t take action and some of us fold our hands, sit on the floor naked, and speak to the heavens, what will happen in the party will be beyond human understanding."
Prophet Nana Agyeman expressed his displeasure over how the NDC had abandoned him, recounting how his life and that of his family were threatened after the video went viral.
"My life was in danger, and the lives of my family members were also at risk. The video, in which I led some NDC polling station executives and Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah to hold a sword and vow not to work against the party in 2024, put my life in jeopardy. I was on the National Security radar, and armed robbers came to my house looking for me, intending to kill me.
After the election victory, who in the NDC has called me to say, ‘Prophet, we have not forgotten about you—even if you are far away, we are coming over to thank you’? Who in the NDC doesn’t have my number? I can mention their names. Apart from Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, who sent a message saying they had not forgotten about me, no one else has reached out—but that is not enough. I have seen what they have done; I have seen the churches they have visited to thank pastors.
The NDC should not be so ungrateful to me. Do you know the number of people who are mocking me? My junior pastors, with whom I worked to provide spiritual direction for the NDC to win the election, are calling me all the time, thinking the party has given me money and I have refused to share it with them. A good worker deserves his wages," Prophet Nana Agyeman stated.
In the run-up to the general election, the prophet was seen in a viral video leading the former Director of Elections for the NDC, Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, and other party officials in taking an oath of allegiance to the party while holding a sword and pledging to protect it at all costs.
The video generated mixed reactions, with some members of the public expressing concerns over the words spoken.
Pastors lied to convinced their members to vote NDC.
