Family curses Kojo Bonsu over encroachment of Sofoline lands

The Ekuona Asaman Kani Royal family who are claiming ownership of a site at the Sofoline bus terminal have rained curses on the Mayor of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu over the latter’s wanton sale of the stool lands in the area.

A member of the royal family Obaa Panyin Nana Mansa who is keenly involved in the fight against KMA over the rights to the lands told host Fiifi Banson she won’t dissipate her energy over the claim of the stool lands anymore since such efforts yielded no fruits in the past.

The last resort, Obaahemaa claimed was to fight opposition using spiritual force.

“I’ve been beaten mercilessly over this same land litigation and I’m not ready to go through that again, hence my decision to invoke curses on those who are forcefully taking our property from us.

“We’re the legitimate owners-we have all our boundary plans and the necessary documentations to the lands. As I speak with you now we have several cases pending in court over the same lands. Those who have acquired parcels of the land in Sofoline without our consent have had to face lawsuit,” Obaahemaa told Kasapa 102.5 FM.

According to the leadership of the family, any attempt by Hon Kojo Bonsu to commence what they described as the purported redevelopment of the terminal will result in his untimely death insisting that as members of the royal family they are battle ready to ensure that whoever interferes with their land covering the terminal plus other locations is eliminated through any spiritual means possible.

The leadership of Ekuona Asaman Kani royal family who appears to have lost confidence in the power of the judiciary following the snubbing of a prevailing court injunction by Hon Kojo Bonsu which restricts him from exercising ownership or commencing any project at the site in question, have strongly vowed to appease the gods with the children , nephew and grand children of the Kumasi mayor after the curse has run its full course.

The royal family warns that whoever joins or has joined hands with Hon Kojo Bonsu in his ‘supposed redevelopment’ of the terminal despite the court injunction will face a similar fate.

They have also warned that the CEO for Las Palmas who is alleged to be the one Kojo Bonsu wants to offer the contract to operate as a BOT should be advised to go back to the mayor and claim the refunding of all monies paid him, lest the former faces a looming trouble unleashed by the river deities.
