Farmer found dead on highway, another body washed ashore

Akatsi, Apr 2, GNA - Francis Soku, alias Paa Nii, 28, said to be a farmer was found dead in a pool of blood opposite the Ghana Fire Service Station at Akatsi, on Wednesday, April One, with a flashlight beside him. Police and family sources suspected that the late Soku, from Hikpo, near Dabala, in the South-Tongu District, might have been knocked dead by a hit and run driver. The Police told the Ghana News Agency that Soku's family had been searching for him and that he was behaving abnormally when he left Hikpo for Akatsi with a flashlight the previous evening. Meanwhile, the body of another male adult was washed ashore at Vodza in the Keta District, on Wednesday, April One, this year. The Keta Police said it was yet to be identified. Both bodies are in the morgue pending autopsy.
