Nyinahin (Ash), Feb. 23, GNA - Mr Yaw Frebuo, 47-year old farmer, died on the spot in an accident at Pammuroso near Kyereyaaso in the Atwima Mponua District at the weekend. His wife, Diana Yeboah, 48, who sustained injuries, was also admitted at the Nyinahin Government Hospital for treatment. Sergeant Stephen Darko of the Nyinahin Police Motor Traffic and Transport Unit, who briefed the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the Kia truck was travelling from Pammuroso to Nyinahin when the accident occurred. He said the brakes of the Kia truck failed and as a result veered off the road and somersaulted, killing the farmer on the spot. The body of the deceased had already been deposited at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi for autopsy.
