Asante Kotoko gaffer, Paa Kwesi Fabin, has confessed that had not been goalkeeper Felix Annan his side would have lost heavily at Karela United.
The Porcupine Warriors went down 3-1 against the Nzema-based side on Wednesday in Week 11 of the Ghana Premier League at the CAM Park.
Karela United opened the scoring through Imoro Ibrahim but Kotoko pulled even courtesy Sougne Yacouba, but before the break Abdul Ganiyu restored the home side’s lead from the spot.
In the second half, Maxwell Baakoh put the icing on the cake for the home side by the thid goal.
“We were saved by Felix, for that one it is very true,” Fabin said after the game.
“He was our hero, had not been him we could have conceded more goals,” he added.
