Fetish priest washed ashore alive after 3 days in the sea at Anomabo

In a stunning turn of events, a 23-year-old man was rescued alive after spending three days in the sea at Anomabo in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.

The individual, identified as Kofi Tawia, a fetish priest, was swept away while swimming on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at around 7:00 PM.

Despite efforts by swimmers to locate him, he remained missing until Thursday, July 11, 2024, when he was washed ashore alive.

According to eyewitnesses who spoke with Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan, Kofi Tawia was seen removing his clothes and shoes on the shore before swimming in the sea, but he failed to return.

His disappearance sparked a search party, but he was nowhere to be found.

Three days later, after libations were poured by the Chiefs and fishermen of Anomabo, Kofi Tawia miraculously emerged from the sea, wet and alive.

He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

The incident has left the Anomabo community in shock, with many believing that Kofi Tawia may have been engaged in ritual activities in the deep sea.

The Chief of Anomabo has therefore vowed to summon Kofi Tawia for questioning, and the case has since been reported to the Anomabo Police Station for investigation.

This astonishing event has raised many questions, and the community is still reeling from the shock of Kofi Tawia’s miraculous rescue.
