The Kasoa Divisional Police Commander, Chief superintendent Charles Adu has stated categorically that fighting crime is his top priority.
The police chief for the area noted that Kasoa has gain the wrong headlines for criminal activities, and for this reason he and his men will make sure that criminals will be prosecuted by the law and have no peace.
Chief Supt. Adu admitted crime cannot be completely eradicated but must be brought to minimum level through effective policing.
He has also advised his men not to harass anyone to create enabling space between the police and civilian.
He added that, fighting crime is a shared responsibility if civilian cooperate with them in able to make policing effective and successful.
“The crime rate in Kasoa is very high but we also have measures to fight the crime. We can do our best by going to our principles but the public have roles to play in fighting crime. One of them is giving leads to police men on criminal issues”, he said
