Five declared most wanted criminals

Accra, Dec. 7, GNA - The Police Administration has placed a 20 million-cedi reward each for information leading to the arrest of five most wanted criminals believed to have been involved in a series of robbery cases in the country.

A statement signed by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kwesi Ofori of the Directorate of Public Affairs of Ghana Police Service, named them as Razaak; Bawah; Abu Doggie; Sheriff and Wiper.

The Police said the five had been declared as "the most wanted criminals in the country" and were believed to be in hideouts in Accra. "Any Police officer who exhibits professionalism in arresting these criminals would be given a special reward."

While Razaak is believed to be hiding at the Kokomba Market in Accra, Bawa and Abu Doggie are suspected to be at Madina, with Sheriff and Wiper hiding at Bukom in Accra. The statement urged the public to offer information on the criminals through the following telephone numbers: 0244-430917; 021-775769; 021-761732 and 021-775890.
