Former Kotoko coach, Michael Osei has emerged a top target for Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC, Starr FM Sports has reported.
According to the report, the ownership of the Tarkwa-based club is considering engaging the Osei on a two-year deal.
Medeama currently have technical director Evans Adotey doubling as head coach due to the absence of a substantive one. He is expected to relinquish the role once they wrap up a deal with Michael Osei.
The ex-Edubiase assistant trainer is still an employee of Kotoko as he is yet to resign though he is owed two months’ salary.
He recently rejected an offer to take up the club’s youth team after getting relieved off duties with the senior team. However, sources say Michael Osei intends to resign officially from the club in the coming days as he pursues the Medeama coaching job.
Michael Osei was recently linked to the AshantiGold job.
