Eric Nnison Arthur, the 2016 Progressive People's Party (PPP) parliamentary candidate, has declared support for Stephen Yeboah, the NDC parliamentary candidate for the Atwima Mponua constituency.

Yeboah faces a stern test to claim the Atwima Mponua seat for the NDC for the first time against a formidable NPP parliamentary candidate, Owusu Sekyere.

According to Mr. Nnison Arthur, he has decided to campaign for and support Mr. Yeboah's bid, considering his dedication to serving the masses and compassion for the vulnerable in society.

Nnison Arthur, who is an astute businessman and a young politician, promised to campaign for former President John Mahama while also supporting the parliamentary candidate for Atwima Mponua.

Addressing some executives of the Atwima Mponua constituency and party faithful, Mr. Nnison Arthur said he will provide the party with logistics, including T-shirts, posters, flyers, and banners.

This, he says, is to enable them to campaign effectively and get the message of the NDC to the grassroots as they seek to wrest political power from the NPP.

"I have personally adopted some electoral areas. I plan to campaign intensely so that we can win the polling stations. We really need to work hard if we want to win the Atwima Mponua seat and hopefully deliver," he said.

Nnison Arthur said his decision stemmed from "the current economic situation that has led Ghana to become a highly indebted country, bad governance, and poor policies that have led many businesses and banks to collapse, including GN Bank, along with the massive corruption scandals."

The constituency executives, led by the constituency chairman, Haruna Salifu, popularly known as Chairman Kutu, warmly welcomed Nnison Arthur into the party and accepted his support for the party and parliamentary candidate Stephen Yeboah.
