Forty- Five suspected criminals in police grips

Kumasi, June 1, GNA - The Suame Divisional Police in Kumasi in the early hours of last Saturday arrested 45 suspected criminals from their hide-outs in the Metropolis. Briefing the Ghana News Agency on Monday the Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Kwaku Duah, the Divisional Crime Officer, said the swoop was part of an operation by the division to rid the city of criminals. Mr Duah said out of the 45, seven were identified by residents. He said among the seven was Baba Moro, 20, a notorious criminal, who had been involved several robberies in the Kumasi Metropolis and has been on Criminal Investigation Department wanted list for some time now. 01 June 09
