Four suspected robbers busted on their way to rob a mining firm at Jakobu

Police officers in Jakobu in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti region have arrested four suspected armed robbers.

The suspects, according to police are behind recent robbery activities in mining site within the district.

They’re identified as Prince Arhin Afful 28, Emmanuel Mensah 19, Prince Agyei 24, and Kwaku Sarpong 27.

The suspects were arrested in a Taxi cab on June Sunday 23, 2019 on their way to rob a mining firm.

Police search on the suspects retrieved one foreign and a toy pistol, metal cutter and a number of BB cartridges including two military uniforms they wear for their alleged robbery operations.
