The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, has lashed out on president Akufo-Addo for deceiving teacher training students with allowance whiles owing teacher’s salary.

In his view, it was very easy for Nana to promise but failing to honour. According to him, “Everybody can wake up in the morning and start promising free water, free food, free cars and free money but the most important thing being able to sustain that.”

Mr.Pratt opines that, “So I believe the free free things and the fake promises are too much, it’s about time the president sit down and take action on his promises.”

“If tomorrow morning we have a government who will give us free things we will be very happy, but the most important thing is how the free thing helps in development.”

The free SHS was a very flagship program but its implementation and sustainability were destroying the educational system left by the previous government.

“People in government and communicators are all talking about it, the most recent one is the president of CHASS who brought the issue out that, the free SHS policy will collapse due to lack of funds.”

He added that, “the woman who was telling the truth was rather seen as evil in the eyes of the NPP. I found this reaction exceedingly shocking.”

“As GES, how can you say, you have not receive returns from some heads institutions and for that matter, you are not releasing funds.”

“There are two element to it that is either quantity or quality.”

Kwesi Pratt, said, “It seems to me that, the NPP didn’t not placed emphasis on quality.”

“Teacher’s student ratio is very important in the determination of quality.”

“It is important to take care of teachers, so you build training teachers allowances and when they finish their training and working you don’t pay them.”

“I can’t think far at all, and this is a sources of worry for me and senseless,” he stressed.
