Accra, Sept.22, GNA- Alpha and Omega International, a non-governmental organization based in the U.S., on Monday conducted free oral cavity exercise for pupils of Bishop's Mix Primary School. The Reverend Dr. Godfrey Nunnoo, leader of the five-man medical team said the aim of the exercise is to cater for the health needs of poor communities. He said his organization has used Ghana as the gateway to Africa to deliver free health screening for deprived communities in the country for the last seven years. Mr. Dennis Amartefio, coordinator for the organization said so far, communities in Greater Accra Region and Eastern Regions have benefited from the exercise and hopes to cover the whole country in the coming years. Miss Emelia Mensah, Headmistress of the school thanked the organization for donating free toothbrushes and toothpaste to each pupil and for choosing the school to benefit from the programme.
