Free remedials studies hit Jomoro Constituency

The Member of Parliament(MP) For Jomoro Constituency In the Western Region of Ghana Hon Paul Essein has revealed to Organise 'Free' Remedial Studies For Senior High School Students who had shortfalls in some subjects areas in their WASSCE examination.

Hon Paul Essien explained that "it is free because I am going to pay the teachers who will take them through the studies" He said.

Speaking to the media in the Jomoro District, Hon Paul Essein stated that he has education at heart that is why he is initiating such a laudable education program.

"This program is one of my 2016 campaign promises and I have to honour it", Paul Essien emphasized.

He said this program is for all people in Nzemaland most especially the Jomoro Indigenes devoid of political affiliation.

"My aim is to help students who were unable to sailed through their WASSCE examination successfully in my constituency,to better their grades and further their education to the highest level", Paul Essien stated.

He advised students to take their studies seriously and use this opportunity to redeem themselves. He said students failure in a subject or two should not be a barrier in their educational life. He said,successful people always have stories to tell and "in life we stoop to concur"

Speaking to Daniel Kaku, The Member of Parliament used himself as an example that he is from an abject poverty home but never lost hope after staying home for good six years before he furthered his education. Therefore, he is encouraging the Youths to disregard the misconception that a fail in Science, Mathematics, English or other subjects is not a fail in Life. He said the studies will take effect on April 2017.

On his recent appointment as a deputy minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon Paul Essien expressed his appreciation to the President for given him such a privilege to serve.

Hon Paul Essien said this position given to him by President Nana Addo is a historical position ever in the political history in Jomoro.

He explained that he is the only elected MP and a fresher in the Parliament from Jomoro constituency that has been given a deputy ministerial portfolio.

He has pledged to work harder for his country and bring prestige to his constituents and the good people of Nzemaland.
