Friday, 3rd December is a holiday

The Ministry of the Interior on Tuesday reminded the public that Farmers Day which falls on Friday, 3rd December, is a statutory holiday.

A statement signed by Nii Okaija Adamafio, Minister of the Interior asked the public to observe it as such.

Sixty-three farmers will be given various awards at a ceremony to climax the occasion in Bolgatanga, Upper East Region.

Regional and district celebrations will also be held in various towns and villages.
