Snipped of the fuel tanker in flames
Some buildings along Kasoa-Winneba Highway have been badly affected after fuel tanker explosion at Potsin Junction on the Kasoa-Winneba Highway.
According to a report from citinewsroom.com the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, March 17, 2026, when the tanker reportedly fell on its side, spilled fuel and subsequently burst into flames.
According to the report an eatery close by caught and spread to two other buildings.

Emergency response teams, including fire officers, were deployed to the scene and have since secured adjoining buildings while working to contain the fire.
Authorities are yet to release official information regarding casualties or the full extent of damage caused by the explosion.
