Fufu on wheels: 51-year-old truck pusher feeds underprivileged children daily

51-year-old Yeboah, a truck pusher at Agbogbloshie has taken it upon himself to feed underprivileged children within his community on a daily basis.

Before leaving for work every day, Yeboah makes time to prepare fufu with soup for the children, a gesture he says is a divine call he cannot ignore.

Yeboah has been doing this for over two years and says he spends not less than GH¢50 daily on the meal.

JoyNews’ Komla Adom found Yeboah on his truck pounding the fufu on a wet Friday afternoon as the area where he operates had become very muddy after the rain.

Yeboah told Komla he is happy anytime he feeds the children as starving them, makes their minds restless.

His neighbours who were appreciative of his efforts called on philanthropists to support Yeboah so he can do more than he is currently doing with the little money he makes from pushing truck.
