GCD board spends ?10 m per month as sitting allowance

Since the NPP government came to power over two years ago, there have been instances where the very things they shouted and screamed about when they were in opposition were repeated.

A letter from the Senior Staff Association of Ghana Consolidated Diamond (GCD), at Akwatia, addressed to the Minister of Mines raised some concerns were . Among the concerns raised is the payment of ?1,500,000.00 per member per sitting and ?2,000,000 for the members and chairman of the Board of GCD.

The government, according to the VOICE appears not to be prepared to cut its coat according to its size and yet continues to ask Ghanaians to make sacrifices.
